Later that day, the candidate was asked again by a male SC member if she "had family here." When the candidate replied that she was indeed married and had two kids, the committee member asked how old the kids were.
I am struck that there are no recent complaints about lack of contact, lack of reimbursement, rudeness, etc.
So, I’m assuming I made it to the second round, and spent overnighting the transcripts to the school.
A few weeks later I get another email from the assistant to the campus president stating that I was to appear in person in less than a week for the second interview with the president and the rest of the committee.
Position beginning Fall 2016 in English (Creative Writing) department.
